This is a great class for beginners or for those that want an easy evening paddle

We are excited that you want to learn how to paddle board with us!

Here's some important information about the class

  • Lessons start at 30$ for 1.5 hours.

  • We teach every Wednesday at a small, local boat launch in La Salle, Manitoba.

  • We meet for 6:30pm, on the water between 7:00pm - 8:00pm.

  • We provide all gear (PFD, paddle, board, and leash), to make it easy for you to just show up and have a good time.

  • Must be at least 16 years old to register for class. (if younger, please contact us to make a private booking, or join a family event)

  • This is beginner friendly. We go over the basics, which include safety awareness, mounting on the board, kneeling, standing, turning your board, forward stroke and more!

  • There are two certified Paddle Canada Stand Up Paddle Board Instructors at every class.

  • Lessons are not a race. We make sure to take our time teaching to make sure everyone is comfortable and having fun on the water!

  • We keep things light and simple - your job is to have a good time and ours is to keep you safe. This is why we always start our lessons by going over the fundamentals. This means learning how to be safe on the water, paddle technique, and how to handle your board.

  • To keep everyone safe, we run a 2-6 ratio. This means that you get two instructors per group which gives you plenty of time to ask questions, chat, and quickly learn how to master those paddling skills.
